Supported Study Sessions
Supported study sessions
Students come to the study room and complete the majority of their assignments and homework in a quiet and well equipped environment. Students are encouraged to develop independent study skills, organisational skills and revision techniques. The room is well staffed by Mrs Darroch (Head of the ‘Personalised Support Programme’) and support staff.
Students access the A-Level subjects of their choice and benefit from the supported study sessions. They can also access any of the courses or workshops on offer. The supported study sessions are invaluable as the majority of A-Level work is done within College time which is less stressful for the student.
Mrs Darroch and the team will support with:
- Revision techniques.
- Organisational skills.
- Liaise with subject teachers on any issues that arise with homework and assignments.
- The UCAS application process.
- The apprenticeship process.
- Work related support.
- Any other pastoral issues that arise.

- Supported study sessions
- Opportunities to take part in the workshops and courses on offer.
