Personalised Support Programme
The Personalised Support Programme offers a tailored programme of study to suit the individual needs and aspirations of those students who, for a variety of reasons, require additional support on an academic or pastoral level, in order to fulfil their learning potential. Our ethos is to provide an environment that enables students to reach their academic potential whilst also offering as many opportunities for them to develop skills to become well-rounded young people, as these skills transfer into life beyond Rutland County College.
Our dedicated staff are highly trained to deal with any concerns a student may have. They regularly go above and beyond to ensure all students have the best possible experience and are the most successful they can be. We provide an individual, friendly support system that meets the personal needs of each of our students. We offer places after discussions with parents, students and other professionals linked to the young person. This ensures we find the right level of study and support for every student. Staff and students over time develop trusting, supportive relationships both in lesson and supported study sessions; this provides a platform for continual progress academically, socially and emotionally.
